The Erasmus+ Entreception project trained youth workers and teachers of formal education to help young people fulfill their career or entrepreneurial aspirations using entrepreneurship as a tool based on coaching methods. The project gave importance to the strong connection between formal and non-formal education because only together can adequately and effectively prevent young people from becoming socially excluded in the future or NEET situation.
The goal of the project was to provide young people with professionally trained people who help them to gain inner strength to realize their career or entrepreneurial aspirations and at the same time prevent their potential social exclusion or NEET situation.
The project used the entrepreneurship tool and the coaching method. With coaching, we got short and effective ways to build a solution to problems, with the help of internal resources.
The main activity of the Entreception project was a 7-day international training in Maribor, with a total of 25 participants from Slovenia, Lithuania, Poland, Serbia, Turkey, and North Macedoniaa. The participants of the Entreception project were people who work with potential and NEET youth, socially excluded youth, youth who are geographically, socially, or economically disadvantaged in their functioning, or youth who have the potential to fall into the NEET group. These are youth workers, leaders of youth centers, mentors, educators, and teachers from the sphere of formal education.
